Virtual Ageing Well Event

On Saturday 10th March, working with Age UK Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland, I hosted an 'Ageing Well' event at the Schofield Centre in Loughborough.

The event was aimed at providing people with as much information as possible about planning for and living through a long and positive retirement.

I'm very conscious that for all of us the future shouldn't simply be about ageing, but about ageing well.

Of course there are far more people in and around Loughborough who are affected by the issues brought about by growing older than could attend the event; some are already retired, others planning for their retirement and more still who care for an ageing relative.

With that in mind I have put together this 'Virtual Ageing Well' event.

All of our exhibitors produced a short video which you can find by clicking on the links below.

None of the exhibitors are professional presenters and the videos aren't commercially produced. What you will see are local providers from the public, private and voluntary sector dedicated to helping people in our community as they grow older.

You will find links to further information in the details section of each video and closed captions are available in all clips.

I do hope you find these links useful.
