Loughborough’s MP Nicky Morgan, is encouraging local businesses to think about the benefits of international trade. Following the recent success of Export Week in May which focused on high growth markets, there will be a follow up week with a series of regional events during another Export week from the 11th – 15th November 2013.
As part of the week, there are a number of workshops, conferences and events taking place locally covering many different aspects of international trade.
UK Trade and Investment will be holding a breakfast event in Quorn on 12th November which will focus on the diverse and vibrant Commonwealth markets of Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. This event will provide local businesses with an insight into doing business on the African continent and how to seize the growing commercial opportunities in the region.
“Emerging markets such as Brazil and India are becoming more and more influential in international trade, and the Export Week offers a great opportunity for local businesses in Loughborough to get involved in this growing development.
“Exporting overseas can be a big step for businesses. However it can be extremely beneficial as it allows for greater exposure, increased profits and exploring untapped markets”.
