Spoke to the Leicestershire & Northamptonshire Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses – The FSB is the UK's largest group campaigning to protect and promote the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. During the event, we discussed the skills and recruitment issues facing small businesses and how the Government’s reforms are assisting them. My Week in Westminster - 18th September

Met with the Managing Director of East Midlands Trains – In the meeting, we discussed the current status of the electrification process as well as the benefits this would have on train reliability and capacity. I will continue to press the Transport Secretary for the funding needed.
