Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills, the Rt Hon Anne Milton MP, arrived at Loughborough College today to congratulate students and staff following their recent Good with Outstanding for Apprenticeships rating by education watchdog Ofsted.
The Prime Minister has recognised Dettie Wallington, from Loughborough, for her work with ‘The Exaireo Trust’, a charity she co-founded to provide residential accommodation for individuals who are homeless.

The extended car park at Loughborough railway station was formally opened today (Friday 10 November) by Nicky Morgan, MP for Loughborough and Lawrence Bowman, Commercial Director at East Midlands Trains.
The Environment Agency have informed me that next Monday, 30 October, they will commence a program of maintenance works on the flood embankment adjacent to the Black Brook watercourse which runs through Thorpe Acre.
